For any of you old enough to remember the late 1970’s and early 1980’s (I was born in 1982-I knew that history degree would come in handy), you can probably recall interest rates of 16% and higher and a misery index of 21.98% . The early 1980’s were difficult economic times, but entrepreneurs sprung up and started businesses that innovated, employed and led the country out of recession. Just like many of your businesses, F&M was started by a husband and wife in the heart of recession. Their hard work and ingenuity paved the way for a business that now employs nearly 100 people and supplies thousands of apparel decorators around the world. Our mission in 1980 remains the same.
